Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has heaped massive praise on Stephen Appiah describing him as an ‘exceptional’ personality.

Appiah became the first local man to guide the Black Stars to the World Cup after two previous feats were chalked by Serbians.

The ex-Asante Kotoko trainer has touted the credentials of the former Juventus ace and expects him to play a role in Brazil.

“Stephen is an exceptional person. I remember after the last World Cup he told me I was going to lead the team to the next World Cup,” Appiah said

“And I told him he was going there with me. He is one man who commands massive respect among the playing body.

“There should be a role for him in Brazil and there will be. He has to go to Brazil. But the management will meet and then everything will be made clear.

“I told him we’re going to Brazil together and I’m keeping that promise.”

Appiah captained the Black Stars to two successive World Cups in 2006 and 2010 in Germany and South Africa respectively.

Dear coach, keep your eyes on Assifua, Gideon Baah and Lee Addy too. Assifua’s under 20 compatriot is one of the strikers for France and I do not think he is better than Assifuah who had better goals at the tournament. Andre Ayew and co went to the world cup from the under 20, I do not see why you can not do the same. Good luck!

Now back to the main one i think akwasi has done well to have kept Stephen(The living Legend) in mind to hand him a role in the in Brazil 20o 14.He so deserves it.If anyone ecides to hurt or disrespect Stephen then he hurt or disrespect the nation too.Big up to Stephen,God bless Akwasi..

Personally I share the same views as some of you on this forum. We need call the double footed Assifuah and the skillful playmaker called Aboagye for some Blackstar assignments..We should have started warming them into the Blackstars a long time. It will even boost their motivation like it did to Andre Ayew, Agyemang Badu, samuel Inkoom, David Addy , Daniel Agyei cohorts of the U 20.
