Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan is thrilled with decision of the Ayew brothers and Kevin-Prince Boateng  to end their premature retirements from the national team.

The Black Stars have been boosted by the return of the three key players for the remaining matches in the 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign.

They  have rescinded their decision not to play for the Black Stars and have made themselves available for the final group D game against Zambia in Kumasi.

The 27-year-old, who broke Abedi Pele 33-goal haul for the Black Stars has expressed his delight with the decision of the players.

“We know what these players bring to the national team. We really missed them for the period when they were away but when we heard the news yesterday, we were happy,” Gyan told Super Sport

It would be great to have them in camp to add to the unity in the team. We are all very equal and the unity is there. They left us and now, they are back.

"As a captain, I need all the players in the team. We need to unite and do our job. We are course with our preparations for the game against Lesotho and that is what we are looking at now.

“It is rather unfortunate that they could not join us here in South Africa but we are still friends despite everything that has happened.”

The Black Stars have landed in Maseru for the penultimate showdown against Lesotho on Sunday.
