Ghana beat Namibia 1-0 in their final warm up game ahead of the CHAN tournament which kicks off next week in South Africa.

King Faisal striker Sulley Mohammed scored what eventually proved to be the match winner in the 28th minute to hand the home-based Black Stars the morale-boosting win on Saturday.

The Ghana team have been training for the past week in the Namibian capital of Windhoek.

The game against the Namibian national team was the final major test for Maxwell Konadu’s team who will be heading out to South Africa on Sunday.

Ghana will be based in Bloemfontein where they will be doing battle against Congo, Libya and Ethiopia in Group C.
