Ghana attacker David Accam scored and saw red in Helsingborg’s comprehensive 4-3 defeat to Mjällby in the Swedish Allsvenskan on Monday night.
Helsingborg fell 2-0 behind Swedish international Pär Ericsson had scored twice within the first 35 minutes for the host at the Strandvallen.
It took the 22-year-old to prevent the home side from humiliating their guest as he halved the deficit with a ferocious half-volley twelve minutes into the second half.
As Helsingborg were fighting salvage their image and draw on level terms, Accam picked two quick bookings within a minute on the 76th minute and had his marching orders.
But Mjällby increased their scored twice to demoralise Helsingborg who have slipped to sixth place on the log.
The former Right to Dream Academy graduate will serve a two game suspension and will miss crucial games in the Allsvenskan.
