Ghana among 51 countries registered for 2015 AFCON qualifiers

CAF will announce format for 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

CAF will announce format for 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ghana are among 51 countries who have registered to be involved in the qualifiers to the 2015 Morocco Africa Cup of Nations.

Hosts Morocco, Somalia and Djibouti are the only affiliated countries of CAF not on the list.

The Confederation of African Football Executive Committee will meet January 24, 2014 in Cape Town, South Africa to decide on the format for the qualifiers.

Morocco the host country qualifies automatically.

Ghana have not won an African title since 1982 and finished fourth at the last tournament held in South Africa 2013.
