GFA set to pay national team coaches owed arrears – report

Sports News of Tuesday, 1 May 2012Source: footyghana Footy-ghana.com understands that the Ghana Football Association is set to pay all or at least part of salaries owed the coaches of the various national teams save the Black Stars.

Over the last six months, coaches and assistants have been appointed for the Black Meteors, Black Satellites, Black Starlets, Black Queens, Black Princesses and Black Maidens but no salaries have been paid to the appointees until now.

According to footy-ghana.com sources, the GFA will commence payment of majority of the arrears due the coaches this week.

A head coach is entitled to a monthly salary of GH¢3000 whilst the assistant earns GH¢1000 a month.
