The Ghana FA will be meeting with the Chief Justice in an attempt to speed up the court process brought against it by relegated Ghana Premier League club King Faisal.

The Kumasi-based club have taken the GFA to court to ultimately challenge their demotion from the Ghanaian top flight.

King Faisal’s legal action has led to the delayed start of the Ghanaian football season since there is an injunction preventing the Ghana FA from holding its annual congress.

The Ghana FA has resolved to pursue the court case to its logical conclusion despite its time lagging effects.

The GFA has however moving to speed up the process to save time.

“We will will be meeting with the Chief Justice to give us a judge who has time for the case,” Ghana FA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi revealed at a press conference on Friday.

“We hope to get a judge who will sit on the case on a daily basis to speed up the process.”

The GFA is also looking to organize a competition to keep clubs busy while they continue to battle the court case.
