Genoa coach Luigi De Canio has slammed Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah claiming he dived to deceive the referee during their clash on Sunday.

The Serie A Champions were trailing 1-0 when the Ghanaian came off the bench after 55 minutes but eventually went onto to win 3-1 and continue their perfect start to the season.

However, Asamoah’s time on the pitch wasn’t without incident and in the 75th minute he took a tumble in the area that resulted in his side winning a questionable penalty.

De Canio believes the episode cast a negative light on the match and sarcastically applauded the former Udinese man’s actions.

“Compliments to Asamoah, he really is a born actor,” De Canio said.

Asamoah went on to seal victory for Juventus as they run away with the victory.
