Mohammed Gargo was a brilliant defender in his days.

Mohammed Gargo could be handed the vacant coaching job at Real Tamale United if the club fail in their bid to get an expatriate coach for the upcoming season.

RTU have been on the market searching for a coach following the departure of Abdul Razak “The Golden Boy”.

The 1978 African footballer of the year quit his post at the end of last season after a fall-out with the club’s supporters.

Sources say Gargo, an Ex-player has been contacted by officials of the club.

The 34-year-old Ex-international defender was the former coach of Premier League side New Edubiase United after replacing veteran Emmanuel Kwesi Afranie.

He had his first coaching experience at AshantiGold.

Well Mohammed, the ball is in your court. Is either you do it or fail to follow the foot steps of your Dad! Your Dad did coach RTU as physical trainer and he was more than just a physical trainer and he did great. It is your time to go to Tamale and prove it. You proved it in your days as a great footballer and this the time to prove it as a coach and Iwish you God’s bid

WELL DONE GAGO GO AND FIGHT FOR YOUR MOTHER LAND
