Ex-Ghana international Yusif Alhassan Chibsah feels frustrated after been overlooked for national team duties in five years.
The 29-year-old has been churning out impressive performances for Swedish side for Djurgardens IF but that has not been enough to catch the eyes of Black Stars trainer Kwesi Appiah.
The ex-Black Meteors captain feels disaapointed his efforts over the years have not earned him a call-up into the Black Stars.
“I have been doing my best here, I have been playing week in, week out and I don’t know what else is expected of a player who is always playing actively. Chibsah told Radio XYZ
“As far as my career is going on well for me, I am happy. I can’t do much about that and no one can tell me that they don’t monitor me because they sometimes invite players who play in this same competition that I play in so that is obviously not fair and makes me feel that I have been neglected.
“May be they don’t need my services but as a Ghanaian I am ever ready to play for my country anytime my services are needed.”
The ex-Asante Kotoko midfielder has made over thirty appearances since he joined Djurgardens IF from Gefle in 2012.
