Frustrated Amidu Salifu to stay put at Catania - Agent

Agent of Ghanaian midfielder Amidu Salifu, Maximum Briaschi insists his player will not leave Catania despite limited first team opportunities.

The 20-year-old has played only 15 minutes of top flight football this season.

The situation has evolved into concerns that the on-loan Fiorentina player is being left on the bench to rot.

But Briaschi says the player is happy at the club as he waits for his chance and perfects his trade by studying from more established first team players.

"He's fine, the player happy in Catania," he said.

"It's true, he arrived in an already set team already same as last year (at Fiorentina).

“They are getting good results and it is clear that for a young man is hard to find space.

"I do not know (about possible departure), it is premature to talk about it.

“I have not yet assessed the situation with Catania and Fiorentina. I still want to reiterate that Catania is good. "
