Frimpong to start for Arsenal reserves against Reading tonight

Emmanuel Frimpong in action for Arsenal

Midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong is poised to start for Arsenal reserves side against Reading on Monday night.

Frimpong made a returned to the pitch last Monday in a similar match against West Bromwich Albion.

The combative midfielder is on the verge of gaining full fitness after a seven-month spell on the sidelines.

The 20-year-old suffered a knee injury when he was playing for Wolverhampton Wanderers in the English Premier League in February.
