Frimpong to begin Arsenal training in two weeks

Posted On Thursday, 6th September 2012

Emmanuel Frimpong is expected to begin Arsenal training

Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has announced will return to training in two weeks time.

The 20-year-old has been in the treatment room since suffering an anterior cruciate knee ligament injury in February.

The injury occurred less than a month after joining Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan for the second half of the 2011/12 season.

“I will be back in full training with the squad on 17thon this month. Two cruciate knee injuries couldn’t end my career it’s been a long 7 months,” Frimpong wrote on his twitter page.

Frimpong’s comeback will be a boost to Arsene Wenger’s options in midfield.

Well with the way they are treating Quincy Owusu-Abeyie it could be hard to convince Ghanaian players born outside the country. they allowed Vadis odjidja-ofoe to play his first senior international fifa recognise game for Belgium. they have ignored Jeffrey Sarpong, and they are delaying Frimpong’s switch blaming it on Fifa and Scottish and the Welsh FAs while the boy remains patient and diplomatic on the issue. The Ghana FA should cast its net wide so that we can have a very strong 11 and equally strong substitutes.
