Ex-Kotoko defender Frimpong Manso would welcome an opportunity to coach his former club.

Manso is currently unattached after leaving struggling BA United.

The former Ghana international parted ways with the Sunyani-based side after just nine games in charge following the side’s difficult start to the season.

He says he would welcome an opportunity to coach the defending league champions.

“I am ever ready to take up the job because I’m a professional coach,” he said.

“Kotoko is a big club and for you to coach such a club demands a lot.

“But as I said I’m a professional coach and as a professional coach you need to be able to withstand any condition.

“I will really embrace the opportunity if it comes my way.”

Kotoko are on the lookout for a new coach after virtually parting ways with Mas-Ud Dramani.
