Several European clubs are queuing up to sign the in-form Tunisia-based Ghanaian defender Seth Konadu with the transfer window wide open.

The ex-Great Olympics robust defender has found a new lease of life at Tunisian side CS Sfaxien which has attracted interest.

The defender is seen by many as a rising star in the North African country after putting up some jaw dropping performances over the season.

With the European transfer window widely open today reports from the Tunisian media indicates that clubs from Belgium and France have enquired about the availability of the defender.

However it is unclear if the Tunisian club will allow him leave after helping them trash TP Mazembe to win the CAF Confederation Cup.

The club's hierarchy see Konadu as the pillar in their squad as they seek to build a formidable team for the future.

But with the 2014 World Cup around the corner several Ghanaian players abroad are eyeing places in the Black Stars and a move to Europe will boost his chances of achieving that dream.
