German Bundesliga side Freiburg have made an offer for Ghana striker Prince Tagoe, the player's representatives have confirmed.

Freiburg want Ghana's World Cup star to replace want-away striker Demba Papiss Cisse, who is second top scorer in the Bundesliga.

Tagoe has been linked with a move away from TSG Hoffenheim where he has struggled to command a place in Ralf Ragnick's set-up.

"Sometimes it's disappointing if you don't get much playing time. But I have promised myself to keep fighting till I fulfil my dream," the 24-year-old said.

Tagoe was an 87th minute substitute last Saturday in Hoffenheim's 2-2 draw with Bayern Leverkusen.
