Frank Acheampong will join his colleagues on Monday

Anderlecht rising star Frank Acheampong will join his Black Satellites colleagues on Monday.

The 18-year-old has been released by the Belgian side to play for Ghana at this month’s African Youth Championship in Algeria.

The on-loan Buriram United winger will join his colleagues who are on a training tour in Italy on Monday.

“I have spoken to him (Frank Acheampong) and all things being equal he should join us on Monday,” Ghana U20 chairman George Afriyie said

“Anderlecht have released him and we expect him to be in Italy today.”

Acheampong will however miss the Black Satellites friendly against Seria B side Novara later today.

Whoever is trying to stick the name Messi to Frank Acheampong is a misserable ignoramus. Frank’s core competence and his style of play and that of Messi are ways apart. The person is only posturing a standard that people will wrongly be tempted to judge Frank with. Please stop showing ur ignorance and stop hurting this youngman’s future
