Ghanaian youth sensation Frank Acheampong has helped Buriram PEA to claim the Thai Premier League title with four games to spare.

The 21-year-old former Berekum Chelsea playmaker has been key to Buriram PEA's campaign scoring important goals to help them cruise to only their second championship triumph.

With four games to left to go, Buriram PEA have amassed 75 points in 30 games with second-placed Chonburi trailing behind with 62 points.

This means Buriram PEA will be crowned champions even if they surrender all twelve points from their remaining games and Chonburi scrap all nine points.

Acheampong, who has been likened to Barcelona genius Lionel Messi, joined Buriram PEA in March this year.
