Frank Acheampong opened the scoring for Buriram United in the Thai Premier League
Frank Acheampong scored for Buriram United who climbed to the second place of the Thai Premier League after beating TTM Chiang Mai 2-0 away on Sunday.
Acheampong scored the first goal for Buriram just six minutes into the game and Ekkachai Samray’s shot from outside the penalty zone smashed into the net of TTM Chiang Mai goal gate at the 44th minute of the first half.
Although Buriram side dominated the second half but the team missed the chances of scoring additional goals until the end of the game.
Buriram now has 25 points – nine behind leader Muang Thong United – but still has three games in hands.
TTM Chiang Mai remains at the bottom of the scoreboard with just one win from 12 matches.
