Anderlecht winger Frank Acheampong is eyeing a call-up for next month’s World Cup qualifier against Zambia.
The Ghana Under-20 star has been in blistering form for Anderlecht in the Belgian Jupiler League where he has scored two goals.
The performance of the ex-King winger continues to earn rave reviews with calls for his inclusion into the team for the crunch game against the Chipolopolo growing incessant.
The 19-year-old is eyeing a call-up into the team and says he is ready to play a part in the hugely-anticipated clash in Kumasi.
“I am ready to return to the team. My confidence is up the roof and if given the chance I won’t blink an eye,” Acheampong said
“My performance speaks for itself. I don’t want to be involved in so much media talk. I want the pitch to do the talking for me.
“I showed what I can do on the pitch during the Fifa U20 World Cup in Turkey and so I’m just waiting patiently to be called-up into the senior team.”
The former Buriam FC winger scored on his debut for the Black Stars during a friendly against China in X’ian last year.
