Ghana lost 1-0 to France in the Fifa Under-17 Women's World Cup semi-final

Kadidiatou Diani’s brace has handed France a 2-0 win over Ghana to advance to the finals of the Fifa Under-17 Women’s World Cup.
The leading top scorer in the competition scored a goal in each half to give the European side a deserve victory in Azerbaijan on Tuesday.
The Ghanaians looked lethargic and struggled to break the resolute defensive network of the French as their fairly tale story ended in a defeat.
Diani scored first from a glancing header on the 31stminute mark before she coolly slotted home the killer blow with a minute to glow to reach their maiden finals.

The French were dominant from the blast of the whistle – leaving the West African side to chase shadows in the game.
The Black Maidens’s quest to get an equalizer was made more complicated after star striker Jane Ayiayem was shown the marching off orders for a second bookable offence- leaving head coach Mas-ud Didi Draman with little options.
The Black Maidens had few chances at goal as the Les Bleuettes kept the chunk of possession and it was only a matter of time for them to put the icing on the cake.
A sweet attacking flow from the French side saw striker Diani used her fast pace to outrun her marker to brilliantly plant home the second goal.
The Ghanaians will however hold their chest high after a riveting run in the competition.
They are still in with a chance to win silverware when they play the loser of the German- Korea DPR game on Saturday for bronze.

they lack tactics, i loved the way they win balls.. we re good on the fysical part of the game but we need to know how to pass around and take benefit of our chances

d girl wearing d no.7 shirt waz d one who caused d team’s defeat! she get most of d ball, looses almost al d possession n she doesnt luk threatening upfront n i didnt know wy d coach stil kept her on d field. 4 d coach, he shd hav adopted d defencive tactics we use agst d japs cos interms of possession dey wer far better dan us so wy open up bt defend n use counter attack? bad tactics dis time! 4 d referee she wil forever remain a slave til she realise she is an african. bloodclat!
