Ghana international Sulley Muntari is confident Christian Atsu will make the most of his loan move to Everton and become a household name at Goodison Park.

Atsu, 22, signed for Chelsea last season but was quickly farmed out on loan to Vitesse Arnhem where he won the Fans Player of the Season.

He impressed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup but could not be guaranteed first team football at Stamford Bridge.

Atsu has since played just seven minutes in Everton’s 2-2 draw with Arsenal but Muntari has no doubts the youngster will hit the ground running soon.

“There is no question of his talent and it is no fluke he is gaining attention,” Muntari said

“The key will be his ability to adapt well and with his talent that is not a doubt.

“He will get better from playing and training with the best that is for a certain.”
