Former New Edubiase United captain Ibrahim Moro marked his full debut in the Uefa Europa league for AIK Stockholm who suffered 3-2 home defeat to FC Dnipro on Thursday.
The MTN FA Cup player of the year was deployed in a defensive midfield role and lasted the entire regulation period for AIK who surrended their lead twice to lose to the Ukrainians.
Moro, 18, joined the Swedish giants in July shortly after helping New Edubiase United to lift the Ghanaian FA Cup title.
He was an unused substitute in the 4-0 loss at Napoli a fortnight ago.
Striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari was replaced after 75 minutes by Mohamed Bangura.
Neither Derek Boateng nor Samuel Inkoom made the trip with FC Dnipro.
Coach Konadu may need his services after clearing the Moroccan hurdle at the AYC.He shouldnt leave anything to chance to bring the cup.
