Former Ghana Premier League icon Charles Taylor says he could have achieved more in football but for certain decisions he made.

His controversial move from Hearts of Oak to rival club Asante Kotoko in 2003 was the beginning of his troubles.

Taylor boycotted games just to force his transfer to Kotoko where he won the league title in his first season.

He later left for Tunisian Etoile du Sahel in 2004 for a fee of US$ 250,000 but was unsuccessful.

A move to Nigerian Premier League side Enugu Rangers came with little success and returned home to sign Berekum Chelsea but has been battling injuries.

“One key problem in our profession is decision making. It’s very important as a player you know the right time to make the right decision,” he said.

“I would have been better off if I made the right calls at the right time.”

Taylor is now unattached but he is refusing to rule out signing for a new club.

“I still have a lot of football in me and I am determined to continue playing till my body cannot carry me anymore.”
