Ex-Hearts of Oak coach Eyal Lachman is in the race to be named next Togo coach, according to reports from Togo. 

The Israeli gaffer is gunning to replace Tchakala Tchanille who could be fired by the Togolese FA after the Hawks' disappointing in the 2015 AFCON qualification campaign.

The 45-year-old Israeli who handled Ghanaian side Hearts of Oak in 2008 has had coaching stints with Hapoel Ashkelon, Hapoel Beersheva, Maccabi Petah Tikva among others and is currently responsible for training coaches for the Uefa Pro License badges is in a pole position to land the job in the tiny west African country.
