Former Ghana youth striker Sadat Bukari scored the opening goal for Romanian top-flight side Astra Giurgiu in their 4-1 win over Berceni in the Romanian Cup on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old shot his side ahead in the 14th minute with a powerful strike from the edge of the area before aiding in the 3rd and 4th goals at the Stadionul Marin Anastasovici in Giurgiu.
Sadat, a former striker for Ghana Premier League side Heart of Lions, has failed to find the net in five league games for Astra this season but ended his goal drought as he netted on Thursday night as Astra progressed from the final stages of the competition.
He joined the Romanian side two seasons ago from Tunisian Lig 1 side Monastir and scored five league goals in 16 games on his debut season.
