Shaibu Yakubu scored for 1461 Trabzon

Former AshGold striker Shaibu Yakubu came off the bench to score for 1461 Trabzon who succumbed to a 4-3 home defeat to visiting ?anl?urfaspor in the Turkish second-tier league on Sunday.

The 27-year-old had come off the Trabzon bench in the 46th minute for Trabzon and scored his first goal of the season with a powerful strike in the 75th minute.

Before Shaibu scored his goal, striker Emmanuel Banahene had found the net in the 65th minute to register his 8th goal in 16 games.

Former Hearts of Oak whizkid Torric Jebril was not in the Trabzon team for the game.
