Former Ghana U17 attacker Emmanuel Boateng registered his first goal of the Portuguese Primeria Liga after scoring for Rio Ave in their 4-0 hammering of Boavista on Monday night.
The 18-year-old iced the cake for Rio with a sensational 90th minute strike at the Estádio do Rio Ave Futebol Clube.
Boateng, who played for Ghana at the 2013 African U17 Championship, had a hands in two of Rio’s opening goals and added his name to the score-sheet with a strike at the death.
He marked his debut in the Portuguese top-flight last weekend and started and completed the entire duration of the game but his Ghanaian compatriot Alhassan Wakaso sat on the bench throughout the game.
