Ex-Kotoko captain Daniel Nii Adjei plans to drag the club to court over unpaid signing on-fee.

Adjei signed a professional contract with the Porcupine Warriors in 2011 after spending his entire youth career at the club.

The TP Mazembe midfielder claims he has not been paid his signing on-fee since he joined from the  youth team but now wants to follow in the footsteps of Dr Kofi Kodua Sarpong of dragging the club to court to demand the payment of his cash.

“The management of the club promised to pay me my money on a later date after penciling down a two year contract, which I agreed to, but as we speak I have still not received my money.”he is quoted by myfinalwhistle.com

Kotoko has made me who I am today so I did not think that was the best way to handle such a delicate issue. But when i heard that former executive board chairman Dr KK Sarpong had taken the club to court for owing him, I started to think about that option as well.”

Adjei captained the side to win the Ghana Premier League title in the 2011/12 season.
