Kotoko have reportedly earmarked Medeama midfielder Kwame Boahene as their main target for next season.

The Porcupine Warriors are planning a strong comeback in  next season’s CAF Champions League following their struggles this term.

The defending League champions bundled out of the competition in the first qualifying stage and are almost certain to make a return to the continent.

They are most likely to win their third successive League title after taken a 11-point lead with nine games to end the season.

Boahene’s work ethics has been described as second to none at Medeama and will be an added piece to the side.

The ex-Ghana Under-20 star joined the Mauve and Yellows at the start of the season from Liberty Professionals and has cemented his place in a squad which  is playing so well in the CAF Confederation Cup competition.

Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani is believed to be a key admirer of the talented midfielder and failed in his bid to sign him last season- where he opted to join the FA Cup holders.

The Kumasi-based side will need to break their bank if they are to be successful in luring the player from Tarkwa.
