Ghana striker John Antwi is delighted to have returned to winning ways after scoring the equalizer for Ismaily in their 1-1 draw at El Minya on Wednesday in the Egyptian top-flight.

The Ghanaian international scored his sixth goal of the season and moved on top level with Arab Contractors attacker Mohammed Farouk.

The 21-year-old has been in blistering scoring form since he joined the Egyptian outfit two years ago.

The ex-Hearts of Oak attacker is inching close to a national team call-up and he is delighted to have returned to scoring ways.

“I am happy to be back scoring again. That is what I came here to do and I’m glad it’s going on well,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“I don’t want to talk about my performance. I want the pitch to do the talking for me and it’s there for everybody to see.

“It’s the dream of every player to represent the country and so I like I have said, I’m still waiting for my chance.”

Antwi’s goal scoring ability has never been in doubt as he has become an important piece for the side.
