Red-hot Ghanaian striker John Antwi scored the only goal for Ismaily in their 1-0 win at home to Petrojet to move top of the scorers chart Monday afternoon.

The former Hearts of Oak attacker completed a sublime finish to help the home side record the narrow win at the Ismaïlia Stadium.

The 21-year-old has now extended his lead as the Egyptian Premier League top scorer with seven goals.

Antwi has been in sensational form this term as he just cannot stop scoring, putting him in likely position to earn a national team call-up.

His consistent run in the North African country could place him in the books of Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah ahead of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

At 21, the budding talent has hogged the headlines with his impressive displays in the Arab Region over the past few months.

The former Eleven Wise attacker has shown so much potency upfront which has made many to take notice of his scoring prowess.

The Dreams FC product has played an influential role for Ismaily who lie second in the Egyptian League zone 2.
