Football agency JP Sportis are in court seeking a total from 920,000 Euros from two clubs Elche and Villarreal over the transfer cash of Ghana midfielder Mubarak Wakaso.
JP Sportis, who owns 42.5 percent of the Wakasoââ¬â¢s economic rights, claim they deserve that amount for bringing in the player from Ghanaian side AshantiGold in 2005.
Elche president Jose Sepulcre has been summoned to appear in court on 16 April and will be joined by Fernando Roig who is Villarrealââ¬â¢s largest shareholder.
Wakaso was sold to Elche, then in the second-tier league, in 2008 but terminated his contract after three seasons.
He went on to sign for Villarreal where he broke into the senior team and went on to play in the UEFA Cup.
After the Yellow Submarines were relegated, Wakaso was sold to Espanyol where he had a successful one season.
Last summer, the club transferred him to Russian side Rubin Kazan.
