Ghana attacker Samuel Afum is keen to gain full fitness before the start second round of the Swiss Super League as he is doing individual training while on holiday in Ghana.Â
The 23-year-old began rehab in Switzerland 13 days before flying to Accra for the Christmas holidays with his family.
But is still working to get himself ready for Young Boys in the Swiss Super second round which begins on first day of February.
"I still have to continue working hard and I have been working on my leg since I came back home (only didn't train on the Christmas and Boxing Days)," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
I sometimes go to the beach and run to rebuild my pace and put myself in shape."
The former Hearts of Oak man went under the knife to get him ready for the second round of the Super League as he encountered a left knee problem.
Young Boys' campaign was hugely dependent on Afum who propelled them last season.
