Berekum Chelsea striker Emmanuel Clottey
Ghana head coach Kwesi Appiah has named five locally-based players in his 24-man squad to play Malawi next month in a final 2013 Nations Cup qualifier.
The quintet includes Berekum Chelsea trio Ernest Sowah, Solomon Asante and Emmanuel Clottey.
The rest are goalkeeper Fatau Dauda of AshantiGold and new Kotoko signing Rashid Sumaila.
Appiah has been monitoring players in the Ghana Premier League and wants them to stake a place in the team.
The Black Stars will play the Flames at the Accra Sports Stadium on 8 September with the return leg scheduled for 14 October.
The team will also engage Liberia three days later for a friendly against Liberia in Monrovia.
