Hearts of Lions proved too strong for Hearts of Oak to win 1:0 and underline their supremacy over the rainbow club in recent times. Lions piped Hearts of Oak to second place last season and looked the most likely score in this tie. Osman Muntaka gave Lions the lead early on in the second half and tried as Hearts did they could not master up a fight. The defeat in the second for the Phobians on the trot and pushes them into the relegation zone for the first time season.
