First batch of Diables Noirs contingent arrive in Accra

Diables Noirs at the Kotoka International Airport

The first batch of Diables Noirs’ contingent arrived in Accra on Wednesday afternoon for their CAF Confederation Cup match against New Edubiase United.

A combined number of 18 players and officials touched down at the Kotoka International Airport. 

The remainder of 24 is expected by Thursday afternoon before their preliminary round first leg qualifier on Sunday.

The Congolese side are expected to train for three days before playing Edubiase at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Diables Noirs lost 2-0 at the Accra Stadium in 2006 to Berekum Arsenal and got eliminated from the Confederation Cup despite winning the first leg 2-1 in Brazzaville.
