Fight for Ghana's 2010 World Cup starting places underway

Ghana coach Milovan Rajevac says regular World Cup starting places in his team are still up for grabs ahead of the next month's World Cup.

The Serbian says this will give an opportunity all his 23 players to grab their starting places in the the global rtournament which starts on 11 June.

Rajevac will use friendlies against Holland and Latvia to assess his charges insisting all players will be given the chance to impress.

"All [players] will get the chance during the warm up games. We would try some things and give opportunities to all," Rajevac said.

"It's important to try some options and check on the every detail," he said.

The Black Stars will play Holland in Rotterdam on Tuesday before their fixture against Latvia in Milton Keynes on 5 June.

Ghana will fly out to South Africa on 6 June ahead of their opening clash with Serbia.
