Fifa's director in charge of West Africa Sampon Kablan will inspect the construction progress of the academy being built at the Ghanaman Soccer School of Excellence on Monday.

The Fifa representative arrived in the country on Friday ahead of the commissioning of Ghana's first Football for Hope project in Cape Coast - another Fifa initiative.

Kablan is said not to be happy with the pace of work in Prampram and will thus visit the site to ascertain first hand information of the challenges hindering the construction's progress.

Ghana benefitted from the academy's construction which began last year as Fifa Goal IV project having successfully completed the first three.

The Goal project is a Fifa initiative aimed at providing funds for the improvement of football infrastructure in developing countries.
