FIFA in conjunction of the Ghana FA have began a grassroots coaching course in the country.
The course opened on Monday will last for five days.
The World football governing body have sent an instructor from the Seychelles – Ulric Mathot – to take participants through the course being held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre for Excellence in Prampram.
Twenty nine (29) participants were drawn from the 10 regions in Ghana to undertake the course.
“This course is geared towards the Ghana FA’s aim of building capacity at the grassroots level,” Technical Director of the GFA Francis Oti-Akenteng told Metro FM.
The participants will be made to impart the knowledge gathered from the training program on Friday on 100 pupils at the Accra Sports Stadium.
