FIFA President Sepp Blatter has congratulated Ghana on its third successive qualification to the World Cup.

The Black Stars will be making a third appearance at the finals in next year’s tournament being hosted by Brazil.

Ghana have earned several plaudits from various quarters over its consistency in qualifying for the world showpiece since its maiden qualification in 2006.

Among the many to hail the Black Stars' third-straight qualification for next year's finals in Brazil is FIFA President, Joseph S. Blatter.

In a statement to addressed to the President of the Ghana Football Association, Blatter said: "Herewith I would like to cordially congratulate you on the Black Stars' qualification for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil."

"I wish you all the best and am looking forward to seeing you again soon."

Ghana completed her historic third-straight qualification with a 7-3 aggregate victory over Egypt in Cairo last month.
