Fianoo primed for one-time victory in Ghana FA Ex.Co elections

AshGold CEO Kudjoe Fianoo

Chief Executive of AshantiGold Kudjoe Fianoo is confident of achieving a one-time victory in the Ghana FA Executive Committee elections on Thursay.

The position was made vacant following the death of Asante Kotoko Board Member Lawyer Owusu-Ansah.

Fianoo however faces stiff competition from Kotoko’s Kwame Baah-Nuako and J.F Mensah of Ebusua Dwarfs for a place as one of the six Premier League representatives on the Executive Committee.

But the ex Administrative Manager of GHALCA who failed to win a seat in the last Ex.Co elections says he has corrected the wrongs made last term and is now primed for a one-time victory on Thursday.

“Some projections I made last time did not work well for me but it has been corrected this time and therefore am very confident of a win,” he told Accra-based Asempa FM.

“I am a product of the system from my days at GHALCA through the U-17, the Black Stars and now doing club management so it is time to give back to the system.

“Out of the available 16 votes, I am confident off polling nine due to the hard work I have done behind the scenes.”
