Feyenoord flies Ghana flag high in international youth tournament

Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord Academy are through to the semi finals of the annual TIDA U-18 Invitational Tournament in the Ivory Coast.

The Ghanaian second tier side progressed after winning their opening two group games against Ivorian side Selecao and Academie De Football Du Roi from Morocco.

Feyenoord will next play their final group game against Apapa Golden Stars FC from Nigeria on Wednesday to determine the winner of Group B.

The game will determine the semi final pairings with the qualified teams from Group A which includes the youth side of Spanish giants FC Barcelona.

Group A also hoses Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas, KOZAF from Burkina Faso and Centre De Formation Volcan Junior from the host nation.
