FC Twente promote Ghanaian teenage duo

Posted On Monday, 18th July 2011

By Patrick Akoto

Dutch top-flight side FC Twente have promoted two Ghanaians players Eghan Shadrach and Mustapha Yahaya after impressing for their youth team last season.

Shadrach, 17, who is currently applying for a Swedish passport will get his chance with coach Co Adriaanse charges in the Eredivisie next season.

Mustapha turns 18 next year and his combative nature in midfield convinced the technical handlers to draft him into the team.

Young Ghanaian striker Ransford Osei spent time with the club two seasons ago but could not earn playing time.
