Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was an unused substitute in Orlando Pirates’ 1-1 draw with AmaZulu in an Absa Premiership match at the Moses Mabhida stadium on Thursday night.

Dauda was making it on the Pirates for the first time in a competitive match but was second choice to Senzo Meyiwa.

Ayanda Gcaba opened the scoring for the visitors midway through the second half but Carlington Nyadombo, who captained Usuthu on the night, netted the equaliser a few minutes later.

Dauda has been promised game time by coach Roger da Sa to keep him competitive for the 2014 FIFA World Cup finals.
