Fatau Dauda plays for Orlando Pirates in a friendly.

Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda was a second half substitute for Orlando Pirates who breezed past Costa do Sol of Mozambique in a practice match played on Wednesday.

Pirates coach Roger da Sa made a few changes to the side with goalkeeper Dauda replacing Brighton Mhlongo.

Dauda kept a clean sheet and helped the Bucs to snatch the match winner.

In a counter attack initiated by Mabena, Molangoane ran into space and was set free by Bacela; the petit winger found himself isolated with the goalkeeper and made scoring look easy by firing a low shot into the bottom right corner of the visitor’s goal.

Dauda is pushing to impress the technical team for playing time in the league to boost his chances of playing at the World Cup.

The former AshantiGold gloves man is yet to play in a competitive match since joining the Premier Soccer League side in August last year.

Nobody cares, he played because it was a friendly. Do you think the coach is stupid to use him in a competitive match? He even kept for the last 45 minutes. Let us test with this wack juju keeper.
    He ain’tshit

  2. Joe says:

Massa the issue is simple, The coach doesn’t need u in the club looking @ the comments he’s being making abt u.I thk u were bought by the club owners without his knowledge so either u’ll leave the club or u keep quiet and rot on the bench. If almighty Essien will leave chelea jux bcos he want to go to the world cup.Haa; A word to the wise….

Even in the friendly, he was the third choice?

Training horse..Well I dont hate this dude. But he is the personal body body of Ghana’s BS goalie trainer Yakubu ,who also doubles as his personal trainer.Which is very obvious from all circus. Moreover this same Yakubu said Kawarasey’s confidence and psychological attitude during training regimes is very low..How low? When he is performing powerfully in Europe as a club captain and a goalkeeper of the year in the league.Eii,to be a club’s captain is not a small thing at all.Because he is entrusted to lead, inspire and put confidence in the entire team to win games. It deals with a lot of psychological influences..Yet this local champion like Yabuku went ahead to insult the gentleman’s confidence..Okay,fine!! what of the other goalkeeper Adjei?why is he not fixing him when he plays every single game week in and out in the same league as Dauda..There is a conflict of interest going on in the BS team. For the sake of someone’s stomach,he is doing the “wrongest” things and lying about to keep a malfunctioning keeper in our post as Fatau. So what is GFA saying about this?If they havent seen or heard this favoritism going on,havent they been told or they are just blame..What is the BS management committee also saying to Yakubu? Are they just there taking tea, pampers, travelling and urine allowances at the expense of we the tax payers??Well hmm..I will keep quiet for now..Anyway,for your information Dauda,Kwarasey also kept a clean sheet beating a Spanish side 4:0 in a prefriendly match.Unlike you,he captained and lasted the entire duration of the game….One day one day..We shall know and see all..
