Veteran Ghana striker Matthew Amoah is close to joining Dutch amateur side DOVO, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal. Â
The 34-year-old visited the Veenendaalse-club last week and has been training with them.
Amoah has played in the Dutch top-flight league for Vitesse, NAC Breda, Heerenveen and Heracles Almelo.
He has scored 56 goals in 146 matches in the Dutch league.
Amoah believes he still has some football in him and has refused to succumb to calls to retire.
