EXCLUSIVE: Two French clubs join chase to sign Stoke City target Jordan Ayew
Jordan Ayew set to leave Marseille in January

Two French top-flight clubs have expressed interest in signing Ghana striker Jordan Ayew next month, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Bastia and Nice have joined the race to sign the Marseille attacker when the winter transfer window opens in about three weeks' time.

The two clubs are expected to slap in their offers for the Black Stars player in a bid to boost their squads for the start of the second round of Ligue 1, sources close to the player have told Ghana's leading football news outfit GHANAsoccernet.com.

The management of Marseille must agree in January to loan the player out or sell him to the clubs who are interested in his services.

The 22-year-old is seeking to leave Marseille in January for regular playing time to boost his chances of playing for Ghana at the 2014 World Cup.

Ayew has played fifteen times in the league since the start of the season, including seven times as a starter, but the younger brother of Andre has scored one goal.
