EXCLUSIVE: Swedish giants AIK Stockhom reveal Ibrahim Moro pushed for SHOCK Kazakhstan move so club could benefit
Ibrahim Moro is close to a move to Kazahkstan

Swedish giants AIK Stockholm have revealed Ghana international midfielder Ibrahim Moro pushed for his move to unnamed Kazakh side FC Kairat so the club could benefit.

Moro's existing contract with AIK expires in August 2015 and would be available on a free transfer but he insisted on leaving the club in January so the Swedish club could earn something from his transfer.

“As the market looks like there are many players who leave freely and free of charge. He wants to leave in a way that allows the club benefit,” AIK Sporting Director Bjorn Wesström said.

Moro was one of AIK''s midfield anchors in the just ended season where he made 22 appearances and scored two goals as the club finished third.

GHANASoccernet.com understands FC Kairat will play the  former New Edubiase United player five times of how much he earned as salary at AIK.

The 21-year-old has been named Ghana's provisional 31-man squad for the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations to be played in Equatorial Guinea.
