Ghanaian striker Eric Bekoe has returned home after rejecting a poor contract by Lebanese side Tripoli SC, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The former Asante Kotoko goal machine left Accra two weeks alongside Michael Helegbe to the Middle East.

But Bekoe refused to pen a deal for the club claiming their contract was not satisfactory.

“The terms the club gave to the boy was not good enough and player feels we would be better off returning to Ghana,” a source close to the player told GHANASoccernet.com.

Bekoe had reached a deal with promoted Ghana Premier League side Great Olympics before leaving abroad but it is unknown if he would revert to the Wonder Club.
